A MOTHER CACAO, BREATH & BOTANICAL CEREMONY

An afternoon of Mother Cacao, gentle breathwork, sound ceremony, and sacred making — a time to gather what this season has given you, offer gratitude, and release what you are ready to let go.

Join Mae Delaney Reid and I for a intimate ceremonial gathering at my home beneath the Grandmother Redwoods in Mill Valley.

We’ll begin by gathering three natural objects from the forest — something representing what you have received, something for what you are grateful for, and something representing what you are ready to release.

Mae will then guide us in creating a small botanical altar bundle from these treasures, weaving them together with dried herbs, seed heads, flowers, and cord. Each bundle will be placed on our communal altar, becoming part of the sacred space we create together.

From there, we’ll enter ceremony with Mother Cacao, gentle breathwork, and sound — creating space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the heart. Through the breath, sound, and individual hands-on support, we’ll soften tension, settle the nervous system, and ground into the presence of the Earth and the ancient trees around us.

Our botanical bundles will remain on the altar throughout the ceremony, receiving the prayers, intentions, and energy of our time together.

At the close, you’ll retrieve your bundle to take home — a tangible reminder of what you have received, what you are grateful for, and what you are ready to release.

May it become a small living altar for the season ahead, bringing you back to presence, gratitude, and your connection with the Earth.
