Mother Cacao: Ceremony, Cacao Crafting & Seasonal Practice

Join Tamara Edwards for a deep dive into the world of Cacao and Ceremony beneath the Grandmother Redwood trees of Mount Tam, on the land where Tamara lives and practices.

As summer begins its turning into Autumn, we will gather to deepen our relationship with Cacao and cultivate a personal ritual to carry with us into the slower, more inward season ahead.

Together we will:

• Begin with a grounding meditation and arrive into connection with ourselves and the land
• Build a personal altar and connect with the natural world around us
• Learn the indigenous history of Cacao, its cultivation, processing, and sacred relationship with humans for thousands of years
• Prepare delicious ceremonial Cacao together in Tamara’s kitchen
• Share a Cacao Ceremony with movement, breath, sound, and personalized hands-on support
• Restore with sound healing instruments
• Integrate through journaling and practices to bring Cacao into daily life

Through our time together, you will:

• Deepen your understanding of Cacao’s history, cultural significance, and sacred traditions
• Learn how to prepare nourishing Cacao for your own daily ritual and to share with others
• Create a meaningful altar practice connected to your intentions
• Experience the grounding and centering qualities of ceremony, breath, sound, and connection
• Leave with tools to support your practice through the changing seasons
